We woke to the sounds of excited kids. 2 children on Xmas day make a lot of noise! After opening numerous presents, we had a leisurely breakfast and then prepared to head out to Andy's parents for Xmas lunch. It was a huge family affair with almost 50 family members at the beach house which was right on the beach. We were welcomed into the midst of the noisy and warm family. Lunch was an amazing buffet of a huge variety of food, brought by various family members. Our kids joined in with the other children's fun and games, while the grown ups relaxed under the marquee. It was a wonderful way to enjoy a NZ Xmas!

12:00 (523 km) Left for Christmas party with the Frank family.
12:05 (529 km) Christmas party with lots of people. Christmas feast with ham, turkey, potato, pasta bake, salads, plum budding, baked cheesecake, brownie, gingerbread house, sponge cake, dessert. Kids had a swim in the ocean and spa.
