Early start to catch the 8.30 ferry across to South Island. Had a huge breakfast on board that lasted us till dinner. Even MK didn't ask for lunch!?! Arrived at Picton at lunchtime and picked up another hire car and drove about 3 hours along the Marlborough Sound to our stop for the day, Richmond.
